This morning, I found he and J in the lounge playing one last game of pool. All year, the joke has been that Michael loses when I'm around. The last round this morning, as if to reaffirm the theory, was won by J. We had a comical time cracking cynical jokes and making ridiculous conversation for one final time. Tomorrow morning, I'll likely be doing the transport for Michael's trip to the Pole.
Right now J and I are schedule to fly to New Zealand on the same flight and hopefully catch up with some friends in Christchurch upon our arrival. I'm looking forward to the pleasant weather and green grass!

Andrea,
Thank you so much for letting me have some news about your plans and Michael's through your page. I can't tell the difference between the base and the south pole. It seems that they'll be more isolated over there. But I understand your longing for warm weather and green grass. Will you return to Antartica this year? Too soon to tell perhaps. Wherever you go may the Spirit of the Lord be your constant companion and guidance. Keep praying for Michael. I'll be doing the same for him and for you as well.
Sylvia
